Naomie Olindo and Metul Shah Are Moving to New York City: Get the Details
The Southern Charm alum and her boyfriend explained why they're leaving Charleston.
Naomie Olindo and Metul Shah are on the hunt for a new home in New York City.
"Buying furniture for the NYC apartment we don't have yet," the Southern Charm alum captioned a recent Instagram Story photo. "Looking for a 1 [bedroom] in NoHo, SoHo, Greenwich Village, maybe TriBeCa before July 1st." As the duo prepares to look for their future home in the Big Apple this coming weekend, Naomie shared they are feeling "overwhelmed."
Metul announced in October 2020 that he would be moving to NYC. In the caption of an Instagram photo showing himself smiling among congratulatory balloons and decor, he wrote, "Draft day round two, can’t believe it’s already been almost four years. Humbled and excited to match for fellowship at Weill Cornell and join manhattanites in complaining about rent, weather, subway rats, and kinda everything else in general."
He hinted at the move being imminent in a May 3 post, captioning an adorable photo with Naomie, "Charleston farewell tour begins." In the comments section of the post, Leva Bonaparte wrote, "I already miss her."
Naomie isn't the only Southern Charm alum making major moves recently. In October 2020, Chelsea Meissner revealed that she had sold her home, just years after doing a massive renovation on the abode. Six months later, she shared in an Instagram Story that she was "pumped for [renovation no. 2]" and teased, "Stay tuned!"
