Mercedes "MJ" Javid "Can't Wait to Go Home and Spend Time with Our Baby Boy"
The Shahs of Sunset mom is opening up about the birth of her son, Shams.
After Tommy Feight revealed on Instagram that his wife, Mercedes "MJ" Javid, had a difficult delivery, the new Shahs of Sunset mom is opening up more about Wednesday's birth of her son, Shams Francis Feight.
"The delivery was extremely difficult and my family was very worried for me, as there were multiple complications. But baby Shams was born happy and healthy, and I'm feeling much better than my first day in ICU," she said in a statement to E! News on Thursday. "We feel extremely blessed that everything turned out okay and am thankful for Dr Jay Goldberg, and Dr. Steve Rad, and all the doctors, nurses and staff at Cedars who insured my baby and I were taken care of. Tommy and I can't wait to go home and spend time with our baby boy."
MJ welcomed Shams this week via C-section. Following Wednesday's delivery, MJ was then admitted to the ICU after what Tommy described as "a ton of complications." She finally got the chance to hold her baby on Thursday, and Tommy shared with fans an adorable photo of the mom and son together.
