Josh Flagg & Fredrik Eklund on Their Negotiating Styles: “We’re Complete Opposites”
The Million Dollar Listing agents opened up about their very different approaches to closing a deal.
When it comes to negotiating a deal, Josh Flagg and Fredrik Eklund couldn’t be more different in their approach. The Million Dollar Listing agents recently opened up about being “complete opposites” in their respective selling styles.
While appearing on the Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles Instagram After Show (watch the clip below!), Josh and Fredrik shared their opinions on each other’s negotiation strategies. In typical Flagg style, Josh couldn’t help but be skeptical about Fredrik’s “emotional” manner.
“Look, Fredrik does really well. Personally, I don’t know how because I can read him like a book. It’s just, when you’re emotional like that, it’s so easy to read the person,” he stated. “Whereas if you look at me, I’m as calm as a cucumber and that’s why he doesn’t know what I’m thinking.”
Fredrik also chimed in on their vastly different styles, stating, “I would say Josh Flagg and Fredrik Eklund, we’re complete opposites in everything. I mean, energy levels, heights, backgrounds. But I like his values and I think he’s funny and very charismatic, and he’s a good broker.”
One thing the two can agree on: They’re both know how to close a deal. “Look, he must do something right. He’s a huge broker in New York,” Josh admitted of Fredrik, while Fredrik added, “He gets the job done and I get the job done.”
