Fredrik Eklund Reveals Why He's Moving Out of His "Amazing" House
The Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles agent explained why he's leaving his gorgeous Bel-Air abode.
Last year, Fredrik Eklund told BravoTV.com that he was "completely obsessed," with his Bel-Air rental home. "I feel like a constant high," he said. "I wake up in the morning and I look at [my husband] Derek and we can’t believe it, you know?" However, Fredrik announced in July that he and his family are moving out of the stunning abode, telling PEOPLE, "It's time to let the next family enjoy it."
Now, the Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles agent is explaining exactly why he decided to say goodbye to the property.
"It was time for us to buy something here and really, you know, renovate and do something that would last for a very long time for us and our kids," he told BravoTV.com in a recent interview. "So, that was the reason. The [house] that we're in now... we don't own that. We've been renting this one, and it's amazing, but it's not our forever home."
Fredrik reflected on his time in the 7-bedroom, 10-bathroom house in a July 22 Instagram post. "Our family has loved this home and made a ton of memories in it," he wrote, noting he was listing the property for $65,000 per month. "I will never forget those weekends with the kids swimming in the pool with our new puppy Cash and enjoying dinners al fresco in the yard."
