Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez Are Selling Their Huge NYC Condo Because It's Too Small
The power couple needs more space for their blended family.
Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez (aka J-Lo and A-Rod, aka J-Rod) are getting into the flipping business. The power couple has listed their luxury apartment on New York City's tony Park Avenue for $17.5 million. They purchased the unit less than a year ago for a mere $15 million, so they're looking to make a tidy profit. Their unit is one of the more affordable in the building, which has apartments that run up to $80 million.
According to Page Six, they're looking for more spacious digs in New York City, because the 4,000-square-foot property is too snug for them and their blended family. And while it's hard to imagine that much space being too small, we sort of get it — it is, after all, only three bedrooms, which would be tough when all four children are staying there!
“They love the building, but when their kids are all together, it’s too small. They need something bigger for the family," a source explained.
The publication noted that furniture is not included in the listing price, but a prospective buyer can bid to purchase the apartment furnished. Let's see what J-Lo and A-Rod's abode looks like fully furnished:
Living Room
The living room lets in plenty of light, but you might want to take your shoes off to keep things clean like J-Lo likes.
Media Room
A cozy media room is the perfect spot for viewing parties and epic Netflix-and-chill sessions. That couch looks incredibly comfortable, too.
Master Bedroom
The master bedroom's neutral tones bring a certain elegance (as does that Hermes blanket).
Kids' Bedrooms
The children's bedrooms look perfect for slumber parties.
Building entrance
The building's entrance defines the luxury that residents enjoy inside.
This isn't the only real estate move that the dynamic duo is making right now. J-Lo has also listed her two-floor, 6,500-square-foot Madison Square Park penthouse apartment for $27 million.
