Kate Chastain Shares a New Look Inside Her Beautiful House
The Below Deck alum showed the details of her living room after moving into a new home in March.
Kate Chastain has had an eventful few months, to put it lightly. On March 25, the Below Deck alum announced she had moved into a new home, and on May 5, she confirmed she had welcomed her baby, Sullivan. Since Sullivan’s arrival, Kate has been documenting sweet moments with her little one — and sharing a look inside her new house in the process.
We first saw the empty home in March, when Kate declared via Instagram Story, “Baby needed a craftsman bungalow.” In recent posts, she has been showing what it looks like now that she and Sullivan are settled in.
Kate Chastain shares an update on her new house
In a July 1 video shared on Twitter, Kate showed Sullivan in the 4moms MamaRoo Multi-Motion Baby Swing. “This is not an ad, this is a public service announcement; if you are having a baby you NEED this chair,” she wrote. In the clip, Kate’s dog, Halo, was comfortably resting on a stunning colorful rug, which Kate explained in March is “an antique” that she is “obsessed” with.
Kate showed a closer look around the room in a July 10 Instagram Story video. In the adorable clip, Sullivan looked quite happy as he was being lightly bounced in the chair. “All I have is baby content…trust me I'm aware,” Kate quipped. As Kate panned around her living room, which was filled with natural light, the video showed more of the beautiful rug, two cozy white chairs flanking an eye-catching table, and a white bookcase that Kate had started to decorate.
Details on Kate Chastain’s Former Homes
Kate has relocated multiple times in the past few years. After moving into an apartment in New York City’s West Village neighborhood in March 2020, she headed to Florida weeks later. In January 2021, Kate revealed on Bravo’s Chat Room that she was “back in New York,” but in April of the same year, she returned to Florida and explained in an Instagram Story, “We’ve moved [seven] times since March 1, 2020… So [I] decided to buy a place.”
While living in her former condo, which had a spacious balcony, Kate had a close friend very nearby. On the March 27 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Kate and fellow Below Deck alum Ben Robinson appeared as virtual guests. “Do you live in the same building as Kate Chastain?” Andy asked the chef. “Like, are you two one floor apart right now?” In unison, the two answered, “Yes.”
