Andy Cohen Is Overwhelmed by a Thoughtful Fan's Handmade Nursery Gift for Baby Benjamin
Benjamin Cohen will stay oh-so-cozy thanks to this beautiful present from a fan. (We're not crying, you're crying!)
Since baby Benjamin Cohen was born on February 4, papa Andy Cohen has been getting his son settled in his new nursery, which is quickly getting outfitted with gifts from family, friends — and fans. The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host took to his Instagram Stories Thursday night to share a touching gift that a fan sent to him at 21 Bank Street, the nearby address where Andy infamously called for a trash cleanup.
"This is so sweet, I got this package sent to 21 Bank Street. By the way, I don't live at 21 Bank Street. Don't send me shit there," he joked, "but someone did and someone winded up bringing it to where I do live."
He read the handwritten card that accompanied the package out loud.
"'Andy, congratulations on the birth of baby Benjamin! I'm a teacher's aide in a one-room schoolhouse on a tiny island off the coast of Maine. I knit at school while I listen to our four students read. I made this blanket for Benjamin," Andy read aloud. Can we all just say it together: Awwww!
And even Andy was taken aback by the thoughtful gesture. "Isn't that sweet?" Andy said. "Benjamin, isn't that sweet? He's just laying here. Isn't that nice? Thank you! And her name is Lisa Turner and I'm gonna send her a proper thank you note, but I thought that was so beautiful."
Andy posted one last video to thank everyone for their kindness during this time as a new dad.
"Anyway, just to continue the thought, thank you for your love and wishes just across the board," he said. "I am still overwhelmed and touched and it's a beautiful thing and I really thank you from the bottom of my heart!"
