Scheana Shay Reveals If She and BF Brock Davies Will Officially Move in Together
As the Vanderpump Rules star and her boyfriend hunker down together at her Palm Springs home, she talked about the possibility of them becoming full-time roommates.
Amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, Scheana Shay and her boyfriend, Brock Davies, have gone from a long distance relationship to full-time roommates while hunkered down together at her Palm Springs vacation home.
"We’re living here together for the time being, and it’s been nice. It’s a beautiful place to be quarantined," Scheana told BravoTV.com exclusively in March. "It hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows, but i wouldn't have it any other way."
Even with a few minor bumps along the way (Scheana joked about Brock accidentally letting one of her cats, Penny Lane, out "for an adventure" twice) the Vanderpump Rules star is looking forward to officially moving in with the F45 gym owner — when the timing is right.
"I think eventually, we’ll definitely live together," Scheana said. "My boyfriend’s based in San Diego, that’s where his business and life is. So this is nice right now that we get to play house, because until I make the move there or he makes the move to L.A., we definitely won’t be living together."
While that move may not be too far off, when the couple is able to return home after the pandemic, Scheana will be staying put at her Marina del Rey apartment for the immediate future. Although she noted that the lease on the apartment is up soon, Scheana wants to "renew it for another year" because she recently turned her second bedroom into a home office. "We’ve completely gutted that, took all the furniture out, cleared that whole room," she explained. "We’re going to paint that and make that a work space studio for my YouTube [channel] and podcast."
For now, the long distance routine works for the pair. "It’s nice because it gives us our space when we need it, but we also have times [when] there are a bunch of events in L.A., so he’ll come up and then stay for one or two nights," Scheana said. "He comes to L.A. once per week, I go to San Diego once per week, and then we usually have three days off."
"It’s been working out great because when I go there I can take his F45 classes or he’ll train me at the gym. I have a small group of friends in San Diego, we’ll all go out there together," she continued. "That’s my home away from home."
While spending their time together working, cooking, and exercising together at the Palm Springs home, Scheana has nothing but praise for Brock's contributions to the house, where her sister, Cortney, and her boyfriend, Justice, are also staying for the time being. "[Brock] fixes everything," Scheana said, while also noting her love is a "really good cook."
As the couple is continuing on with their temporary new normal, naturally, Scheana had an unfiltered review of the experience thus far: "It’s been different living together, but we haven’t killed each other yet," she quipped. " So that’s good!"
