Scheana Shay Spills All of the Details of Her Stunning New Los Angeles Penthouse

It is truly all happening for Scheana Shay. The Vanderpump Rules cast member is preparing to welcome her first child — a baby girl with boyfriend Brock Davies — but before she officially becomes a mom, she has one more major life event to get through. The pregnant podcaster is settling into a brand new space and recently chatted with Bravo Insider to spill all on the penthouse apartment that she, Brock, and “Mini Scheana” will call home. 

Although Scheana and Brock have a gorgeous three-bedroom, two-bathroom house on the beach in San Diego, as well as a vacation home in Palm Springs, the parents-to-be felt they needed a place to plant roots in Los Angeles. But a growing family means a growing list of real estate non-negotiables, including lots of space (at least three bedrooms), proximity to the freeway, and separate dedicated workspaces for both Scheana and Brock. 

“[Our new place] is in Hollywood, which wasn’t my ideal location. But when we saw this place, and it’s so close to being off the freeway, I was just like, ‘Okay, that’s perfect.’" Scheana told Bravo Insider. "It will just be really convenient for getting to doctor’s appointments and visiting my family, and my family coming to see us."

Hollywood may not have been where Scheana hoped to end up, but it certainly comes with some major perks. The unit features a wrap-around balcony, boasting views of downtown and the iconic Hollywood sign Scheana described as “so nice.” 

“We’ll have a guest room slash office. Brock will have his desk area. We’re gonna have a daybed trundle for when people do stay over. And then I want to have a little podcast setup. And then we’ll have our bedroom,” Scheana explained. 

Of course, they’ll also have a nursery, “which is probably gonna be mostly for looks, because she’ll be in a bedside bassinet for the first several months.” Scheana’s baby girl will have no shortage of space to call her own, as there will also be a San Diego nursery and a crib at Scheana’s mother’s house. As for the décor of the baby’s rooms? “San Diego and LA will be very similar. It’s just very white, rainbows, unicorn, girly.” 

Moving hasn’t been all rainbows and butterflies for Scheana, though. While she predicted she’d be settled into her new home shortly after her interview with Bravo Insider, she later took to Instagram to share some less-than-stellar updates. 

“Our moving date keeps getting pushed. But, you know, not stressing,” Scheana said in an April 9 Instagram Story, in which she also noted that it, fortunately, didn’t seem as though the baby would be arriving early. “I am confident that all is going to work out.” 

A few days later, things seemed to be headed in a better direction when Scheana took to Instagram once again to say, “We did it! We moved to Hollywood!” She and Brock still had a few loose ends to tie up, but Scheana still seemed to be keeping her cool. “It’ll be done soon,” she added.

Taking things as they come seems to be Scheana’s vibe for her entire move, which sure seems like a great way to look at it. Despite all of the bumps in the road and ultimately choosing a location that wasn’t their first choice, Scheana’s still thrilled as she embarks on this new journey. 

“It’s not gonna be our forever home," she said. "But for now, I think it is perfect for us."
