Scheana Shay Reveals She Is Moving to San Diego
The Vanderpump Rules star is moving out of her Marina del Rey apartment and heading where boyfriend Brock Davies is based.
Scheana Shay is making big moves. The Vanderpump Rules star revealed in a July 19 Instagram post that she is ready to reside in San Diego, where her boyfriend Brock Davies is based.
"This place is beginning to feel like home," Scheana captioned the photo, taken at San Diego's Viejas Casino & Resort. "And soon SD will be!"
While Scheana has been temporarily living with Brock at her Palm Springs vacation home amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, her Marina del Rey rental apartment had previously been her primary residence. When a commenter on the post asked why she wasn't subleasing the apartment, Scheana explained that wasn't an option. "It's illegal for my apt," she wrote. "And no one can afford to rent a $4,500 place right now."
Still, Scheana isn't looking to completely leave the L.A. area behind just yet. "I'll get a smaller place in [Los Angeles] once work picks back up. But for now it's been a huge waste of rent money," she responded to a separate commenter on the photo. "Been in [Palm Springs] for 4 months and still paying rent in LA."
In March, Scheana opened up to BravoTV.com exclusively about the possibility of moving in with the F45 gym owner. "I think eventually, we’ll definitely live together," she said at the time. "My boyfriend’s based in San Diego, that’s where his business and life is. So this is nice right now that we get to play house, because until I make the move there or he makes the move to L.A., we definitely won’t be living together."
After previously visiting Brock in San Diego "once per week," Scheana already feels settled in what will be her new city. "When I go there I can take his F45 classes or he’ll train me at the gym. I have a small group of friends in San Diego, we’ll all go out there together," she said in March. "That’s my home away from home."
