See the Dreamy Details of Scheana Shay & Brock Davies’ Wedding in Mexico
The Vanderpump Rules couple’s special day included stunning flowers, romantic lighting, and a jaw-dropping fireworks display.
As Scheana Shay and Brock Davies got married on August 23, every detail of their special day was so incredibly dreamy.
The Vanderpump Rules bride told People that she worked with Shelby Marie of Simply Classic Events to create a setting that had “neutral tones.” As seen in Instagram Story photos, the poolside ceremony included breathtaking flowers by Natural Flowers Events, and guest tables at the reception featured beautiful floral arrangements as well.
On the August 19 episode of her Dear Media podcast, Scheananigans with Scheana Shay, Scheana described how she and Brock planned to help guests find their seats at the reception. “We’re gonna have a wall where it has the tables, and it tells you which table you’re at. But then you’re gonna get a tequila shot — or a water or seltzer or whatever for those who don’t drink — and you’re gonna get that, and that will tell you where to go,” she said. “Then, when you get to your seat, you’ll have a menu with your name, your meal, all of that printed on it with a nice little bow, and that’s how you know where you’re sitting.”
That night, Lala Kent shared a peek at her menu, which included a beet salad with arugula and dehydrated pear, lime soup, and Lala’s dinner entrée pick, vegan lasagna. According to People, guests who didn’t opt for the lasagna enjoyed a “surf-and-turf” steak and salmon menu. As for the wedding cake, Brock told People, “It’s more for looks than for eating, because no one eats the cake.”
The space for the reception was aglow with yellow and white string lights to create a romantic vibe, and at one point in the evening, Scheana and Brock embraced as they watched a special fireworks display. Brock shared a video of the sweet moment in an Instagram Story, writing, “I love this for us.”
