Lala Kent Shares How Her Merch Helped Pay for Her House
The Vanderpump Rules cast member opened up about her lucrative “Send it to Darrell” merchandise on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
After the dramatic conclusion of the Vanderpump Rules Season 10 reunion on June 7, Lala Kent appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. While in the Clubhouse, the merch maker opened up her “Send it to Darrell” collection, which helped her buy a house.

During the WWHL After Show, Andy commented: “During this whole [scandal] thing, everyone got a little something. And you just spit out this line [‘Send it to Darrell’].”
Lala agreed. “I was on a tangent!” she said, wearing — incidentally — one of her very own “Send it to Darrell” hoodies. (You can watch the discussion in the clip above.)
Andy asked Lala to share how much money she made from the merch or at least reveal what it allowed her to do. Turns out those funds did quite a bit for Lala. “I can say that [the merch] allowed me to pay the down payment on my home, and that was within a few hours,” Ocean’s mama revealed.
Flabbergasted, Andy replied: “That is so significant that you made that on sweatshirts!”
Lala concurred. “The amount of money that we made on ‘Send it to Darrell’ is pretty mind-blowing,” she said. “Darrell’s a big, big star now.”
Andy cut in: “And by ‘we,’ you mean you.”
Lala seemed to shrug in admission, but then added: “We work as a team. It’s a we and an us.”
Lala fully capitalized on the moment her “Send it to Darrell” video went viral, hiring a moving billboard to display the phrase. She told Andy, “When else am I gonna be able to put what I’ve said on a moving billboard? ... Tomorrow it’s not gonna be funny. You’ve gotta do it now... [It took four hours] from the time I said it to the time [the merch] was available.”
What is the "Send it to Darrell" meaning?
Following some drama that took place amid the many ups and downs in the cast during Season 10, Lala issued the warning to "Send it to Darrell" regarding an issue that arose as the season was airing and she later posted about it to TikTok. The Darrell in question is her attorney.
Lala’s New Palm Springs Property
Lala recently purchased a vacation home in Palm Springs. The desert property has a pool and gorgeous mountain views.
In an Instagram Story from early April, Lala could be seen basking in the sun on a lounge chair on her new back patio. “Look at this sexy homeowner over here,” a friend said, showing Lala in a floral-print bikini. “I can’t believe this is mine,” Lala said. “It’s so weird!”
