Lala Kent Shares a First Look Inside Her Incredible New Palm Springs Home
“I can’t believe this is mine,” the Vanderpump Rules cast member said about her gorgeous, newly purchased property.
Lala Kent is the “sexy homeowner” of a new place in Palm Springs, California, and we just got our first look at the property! In a recent Instagram Story reposted by the Vanderpump Rules cast member, she could be seen soaking up the sun on a lounge chair on her new back patio. “Look at this sexy homeowner over here,” a friend said, showing Lala in a floral-print bikini. “I can’t believe this is mine,” Lala said. “It’s so weird!”
We’ve been waiting for a peek at Lala’s new home ever since she revealed that she’d purchased a new abode on the March 10 episode of Scheana Shay’s Dear Media podcast, Scheananigans with Scheana Shay. “I just bought a house next to you,” Lala told Scheana.
Based on the rest of their conversation, it became clear that Lala was referencing a new abode in Palm Springs, where Scheana has owned a vacation home since 2019.
The April 2 Instagram Story went on to show off the vista from Lala’s new patio. “The view is fantastic,” Lala’s friend said, showing off trees, mountains, and a cloudless blue sky.
Lala’s castmate Katie Maloney, who was also at the Palm Springs pad, showed off the view as well. “Good mornin,” she wrote, sharing another look at that dazzling blue desert sky.
While the backyard of Lala’s new home offers staggering views, the inside looks pretty spectacular too. In a later Instagram Story, Lala shared a peek at what appeared to be her Palm Springs bedroom.
Her 2-year-old daughter, Ocean, was cuddled up in a plush bed with a quilted headboard. The cozy room was decked in neutral cream and gray hues, and metallic lamps glowed on Lala’s bedside tables.
When she’s not chilling at her desert getaway, Lala makes her home in Los Angeles. In a March 2022 Amazon Live, she opened up about getting settled in the new apartment. “It feels like my home because it is my home, and I got to start it from scratch when it came to the paint color and my furniture,” she said at the time. “It was all me. I didn’t have to consult with anybody. I just filled it with everything that I loved.”
The apartment is “not gigantic,” Lala noted, but it is “definitely not small” either. Plus, “it’s mine,” she said. “That’s what I think I love most about it. It’s very calm. I’m all about energy.”
