Katie Maloney Shares One Thing She Really Loves About Living Alone Now
The Vanderpump Rules cast member has found a fun perk in living on her own after moving out of the home she shared with Tom Schwartz.
As Katie Maloney said goodbye to the house she previously shared with Tom Schwartz (see it in the video above), the Vanderpump Rules cast member wrote, “this one hurts a lot,” and went on to call the abode “the coziest brightest home” and her “sanctuary.” However, eight months after moving out of the Valley Village house and into an apartment, Katie is ecstatic about her new living space.
“I love living alone because I get to decorate my own apartment however I want,” Katie told BravoTV.com in a video shared on Twitter. “It’s very kind of like feminine… it’s like Art Deco feminine chic, and I love it. I get a lot of compliments on it. The maintenance guys were in my apartment and they loved it earlier today.”
On a June episode of her Dear Media podcast, You’re Gonna Love Me, Katie shared details about the “cute” new home she had just moved into. “I’m really excited to just kind of make my own little space, my own little sanctuary,” she said. “I’ve been having fun sort of planning what I want it to look like, what I want the vibes to be. I’ve, like, bought some new furniture. I’m doing little DIY projects. It’s coming together.”
Tom also has a new apartment, but as the February 22 episode of Vanderpump Rules will show, he wasn’t as excited about getting settled into his space. In the preview clip below, Tom admits he is “so embarrassed” by the numerous unpacked boxes around the apartment and calls it “depressing.” Additionally, he reveals to Scheana Shay that he isn’t living there alone because his friend Jo is staying with him. Although he doesn’t share how long he will have a temporary roommate in Jo, he does make it clear that nothing romantic is happening between the two. “I legit believe him,” Scheana says in the clip. “Because the way this man is living right now, he’s definitely not getting it up.”
