Here’s What the “First Day of Summer” Looked Like in James & Ally’s New Backyard
Vanderpump Rules couple James Kennedy and Ally Lewber are ready for a “happy” new season in their stunning outdoor space.
After recently purchasing his first home, James Kennedy told BravoTV.com in early June that he was hard at work remodeling his new outdoor space. The Vanderpump Rules DJ shared an exciting update weeks later on June 20, declaring in an Instagram Story, “The backyard is almost ready for summer.”
The next day, when summer officially arrived, Ally Lewber documented the “happy” moment as she kicked off the new season in her and James’ gorgeous outdoor area.
“Happy first day of Summer!” the spiritual astrologer captioned a June 21 Instagram Story photo that showed a portion of the pool as well as grass, beautiful white flowers, and trees. “[And] welcome to [Cancer] season.”
In his June interview with BravoTV.com, James explained that the outside area of his new three-bedroom property was especially important to him. “I love my garden,” he said. After explaining some of the other work he was doing in the backyard, he joked, “I’m in very much, like, dad mode. Not dad mode, but you know what I mean? I’ve got a house now. Very grown up!”
After putting plenty of work into the exterior of the property, James and Ally are ready for a summer of “hanging out at the pool,” as well as “working out, [meditating], and [enjoying] good food,” he told BravoTV.com.
As they’ve been getting settled in the house, Ally has been handling the interior design. “Ally’s been amazing,” James said. “She’s decorated the whole place.”

More Details of James & Ally’s New House
In addition to three bedrooms and a gorgeous outdoor space, James revealed more details about his house on Part 2 of Vanderpump Rules: Pumped Up Edition, a Peacock-exclusive version of the Vanderpump Rules Season 10 reunion. After explaining that the house is “in the Valley,” James shared that “it’s got a dream studio” for him to work on his music.
