James Kennedy & Ally Lewber Have an Exciting Update on Their New House: “It Looks So Good”
The Vanderpump Rules couple is making gorgeous progress on a special room in their new home.
James Kennedy’s “dream studio” is coming along! Last month, the Vanderpump Rules DJ explained that he was transforming a room of his new house into the perfect space to create music. “I’m putting the new floor in,” he said, noting that he also planned to paint one of the walls. Since then, James has made even more progress on the space, which Ally Lewber excitedly showed off in a July 11 Instagram Story.

Ally’s video documented James working hard with a paint roller in his hand. Ally asked, “What are you doing?” And James responded, “Painting my studio.”
Looking at the gorgeous green color James was using to transform at least one of the walls, Ally declared, “It looks so good!”
While giving a tour of his and Ally’s former apartment in the video above, James admitted that his neighbors weren’t always thrilled with him working on his music at home. With that in mind, he shared in a June Instagram Story that he was attempting “to soundproof” the room.
As James works on his renovation, he has a great place to step outside for a relaxing break. As Ally’s recent Instagram Story video showed, the studio opens directly onto the couple’s newly redone pool deck and backyard.

After revealing on Part 2 of Vanderpump Rules: Pumped Up Edition (a Peacock-exclusive version of the Vanderpump Rules Season 10 reunion) that he had become “a homeowner,” James shared a photo of his new pool and backyard before he redid the space. In June, he told BravoTV.com that transforming the yard was especially important to him as he and Ally got settled in their new digs. “I love my garden,” he said, noting that he was remodeling the backyard. “I’m in very much, like, dad mode. Not dad mode, but you know what I mean? I’ve got a house now. Very grown up!”
In the weeks since, James and Ally have been showing glimpses of their stunning new outdoor space in their Instagram Stories.
As for the interior design of the home, Ally has “been amazing” about handling that, James told BravoTV.com. “She’s decorated the whole place.”
