Brittany Cartwright Is Setting Up Her Baby Boy's Nursery With Homemade Details
The Vanderpump Rules alum, who's expecting her first child with husband Jax Taylor, also revealed the nursery's theme.
Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor are expecting their first child in April. And while they await their baby boy, the Vanderpump Rules alumni are setting up an adorable nursery with a prehistoric theme — and Brittany's putting her crafty skills to use.
In her recent Instagram Stories, the newly-minted 32-year-old shared a peek at her latest nursery project. "So, I'm doing a little D.I.Y. project for the nursery," she said, filming slabs of light wood laid out on a sheet in the yard. "[The baby's] theme is dinosaurs, and like plants and stuff."
After showing off some framed fronds and wooden dinosaur tracks, Brittany explained that she was going to stain the materials to make them better match the baby's room. (And don't worry: the mama-to-be assured her followers that she was wearing a mask and working outside to mitigate any fumes.) Brittany was also planning to put together a teepee-shaped bookshelf. "I'll show you guys when I'm done!" she said.
Shortly thereafter, the Kentucky native lived up to her promise. Posting a snap of the finished bookshelf in her son's room, she couldn't help but remark on how "cute" it looked.
