The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member created a secret bar room behind the bookshelves in her Utah house.
In the video above, Whitney Rose explains that the downstairs area of her home is “where all the fun happens.” And on the September 28 Season 3 premiere of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, she revealed that she made an incredible update to the space.
Although Whitney and her husband, Justin Rose, already had a small bar in their home, Whitney revealed to Heather Gay that they recently “made it a speakeasy.” As Justin slid two bookcases apart to reveal the newly created bar room, Whitney shared, “You can lock the bookshelves.”
Heather was floored. “When did you do this?” she asked. “This is so cool, you guys… I love it.”
In addition to a fully stocked bar spanning the entire back wall of the room, there is also a white dining table (where Whitney, Heather, and Justin enjoyed an impressive charcuterie board), sleek chairs, and a globe chandelier. While the bar wall is bright white, Whitney and Justin opted for dark accent walls with a crocodile skin texture.
“The fact that we have a bar in our home is a big deal,” Whitney declared.
