Meredith Marks Responds to Lisa Barlow's Claim That She Can't Afford to Buy a House
Meredith cleared the air about one of the claims made during her RHOSLC castmate's hot mic moment.
On the January 30 episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Lisa Barlow was heard making comments about Meredith Marks' relationship, family, and financial situation behind a closed door. Meredith addressed the comments during her Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen appearance on the same night, including Lisa's claim that Meredith "can't" own a house because her husband, Seth Marks, "changes jobs every five minutes."
Meredith explained on WWHL that her choice to hold off on buying a home isn't related to any financial struggles. "In terms of affording a house, we are living a lifestyle that we are actually spending a lot more money than it would cost us to buy a house because it's what my choice is, to figure out what we want to do right now," she said. "We're empty-nesters for the first time."
Meredith also said that Lisa's claim about Seth "switching jobs" is "the one thing that has some truth to it." Giving more insight into Seth's career, she explained, "My husband is [an] executive for turnarounds so by nature of what he does, he should be switching jobs. He's never been fired by any job he's ever been at."
