Gizelle Bryant Is Doing Another Home Renovation Project & Her Daughter Grace Has Thoughts
The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member's daughter had a priceless reaction to the latest room under construction at "Hotel Gizelle."
On an October 2021 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Gizelle Bryant revealed that her lengthy home renovation was “95 percent done.” One year later, The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member gave an update on the progress of "Hotel Gizelle" back in the Clubhouse.
During the October 2022 episode of WWHL, host Andy Cohen read Gizelle a viewer’s question about Gizelle's home "taking so long to renovate." Looking a bit surprised, Gizelle promptly responded, “My house is done.” (You can check out the new-and-improved house in the video tour above.)
Fast-forward to 2023 and Gizelle is taking on another renovation inside her home, this time focusing on her oldest daughter Grace's bedroom and bathroom space.

On August 31, Gizelle hopped on Instagram to share a video of a notable gut renovation of her daughter's room. "So, this is what you do when your kids go to college ... you re-do their room," Gizelle stated in the video, referencing Grace's recent departure for her first year of college at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
"When I say re-do, I mean you gut the bathroom — which is what's happening here," Gizelle went on, showing some heavy construction and a completely bare bathroom that she explained she was expanding. "It's gonna be so beautiful, I got all this marble coming!"
While Gizelle noted how "excited" she was in the caption of the clip, her eldest daughter apparently wasn't too thrilled, taking to the comments section to share her grievances.
"Where are my things," Grace began in one comment, hilariously quipping in another: "[You] know I have to come back right[?]"
Grace added, "This is not needed," in another comment, quite frankly making us laugh out loud.

Though Gizelle is excited to star working on re-doing her daughter's bedroom, she had bittersweet feelings about Grace heading off to college. In a June Instagram video, the Maryland mom opened up about the emotional response she had to Grace's departure.
“OK, I’m gonna keep it all the way real with y’all,” Gizelle began in the video. “I just dropped off my daughter. I’m leaving her for the first time. She is officially a college student. And you know how you pack your suitcase and you’re checking out of a hotel and you’re like, ‘Oh my god, I left my charger in the room’? And you’re like, ‘Is my charger in my bag?’ And you look. And you’re like, ‘Oh my god, I lost my phone, where’s my phone?’ It’s like, feeling like you forgot something. Yeah, I feel like I forgot my child and I need to go back and get her. The struggle bus is real, OK?”
