Ashley Darby Channeled a “Grecian Goddess” in a Green Gown with a High Slit
The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member dazzled in a glamorous one-shoulder dress at a “very special” gala.
It’s a fact: Green is Ashley Darby’s color. The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member proved this to be true on May 11 when she sizzled in a high-cut olive green swimsuit (and sky-high strappy gold stilettos). Less than a week later, Ashley donned another jaw-dropping ensemble in the gorgeous hue, and it just might be her most glamorous yet.
On May 15, the mom of two took to Instagram to show off her attire for the SOME (So Others Might Eat) Spring Fling Gala. The charity event, held at The Schuyler in Washington, D.C., was a very “special” night for Ashley, as she noted in her post. For the occasion, Ashley looked absolutely radiant in a jade Bronx and Banco gown ($780). The floor-skimming number featured a ruched one-shoulder design with a slit cutout, pleated waist, and detachable belt with crystal-embellished ring closure.
Ashley’s glam was equally elegant. She rocked shimmery eyeshadow, fluttery lashes, and glossy lips, and her hair was styled into a high ponytail with a crown of braids.
“Tonight was so special to me,” Ashley wrote on her post. “[SOME DC] is an incredible organization with a very special place in my heart, and I was honored to emcee.”
One day later, Ashley shared another snapshot from the event. “The woman in this photo looks the part of glitz and glamour, but what’s not visible are the countless people who have helped me along this journey,” she wrote. She went on to acknowledge her makeup artist and hairstylist, adding that they “made [her] feel like a true Grecian goddess.”
