Ashley Darby Shares a Peek at Her Home’s Beautiful Front Porch
The RHOP mom also gave fans another look at her Virginia abode’s sleek kitchen.
It seems Ashley Darby has fully settled into her new home.
Less than a year after purchasing a house in Arlington, Virginia, The Real Housewives of Potomac mom shared another glimpse at the abode’s outdoor space… and the way it’s being used by her 4-year-old child.
On Thursday, September 14, Ashley posted an Instagram Story of her oldest son, Dean Michael Darby, playing barefoot on the front porch. The clip showed the little one next to a cushioned porch swing as he began to climb the ropes affixed to the overhang. Dean — whom Ashley shares with her estranged husband, Michael Darby — quickly made his way up to the ceiling before he looked back and gave his mom a huge smile.
Ashley was seemingly impressed but not too surprised by Dean’s climbing skills.
“I was the rope climbing champ in middle school,” the mother of two captioned the Story, “so this makes sense.”

Ashley moved into the Arlington home in October 2022, months after announcing her separation from Michael. She spoke about the life change on the RHOP Season 7 premiere, saying she would purchase the house with her estranged husband’s help.
“I am so excited. I walked through the door [and] I literally felt like I was at home,” she said in an interview. “At face value, to buy a property with someone who I’m divorcing, yes, that does sound counterintuitive. Just dumb. But I do feel like, financially, it’s a better decision for me… Because [Michael and I] are still married and buying this home, we are 50/50 owners. I think Michael and I are in agreement that this is Ashley Darby’s property, and Ashley Darby’s property only.”

On September 14, Ashley provided another peek at the home’s stunning interior. The Instagram Story showed Dean and her 2-year-old son, Dylan Matthew Darby, running around the kitchen island as they played with Ashley’s brother, Zach Smith.
“Uncle Zach in the house!” she wrote in the clip, followed by a crying-laughing emoji.
The video showed the kitchen’s beautiful white cabinetry, hardwood floors, and stone countertops, as well as its stainless steel fixtures and appliances.
Ashley Darby sets off for a family trip
Ashley posted the videos just hours before she, Dean, and Dylan boarded what appeared to be an international flight. Although the Potomac mom didn’t specify where they were going, she made it clear that most of their day would be spent traveling.
“Burning energy before a 13 hour flight with my littles,” she wrote in a Story, before posting a video of her sons on the plane. “And we’re off! Delayed and tired.”
