Meghan King Edmonds Shows What Grocery Shopping With a Toddler in NYC Looks Like
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum navigated Manhattan with daughter Aspen for provisions.
Meghan King Edmonds keeps it real when it comes to raising (and feeding) babies: After all, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum mama has three kids under three, including daughter Aspen, 2, and twin boys Hart and Hayes (11 months). So it would be kind of hard to hide the realities of that rather extreme parenting challenge anyway. Consider — just as a very poignant Exhibit A — the incredibly traumatic experience Meghan had with Aspen at a fancy West Hollywood restaurant. (Spoiler: It involved barf. Lots of barf.)
Well now, mama Meghan is giving a glimpse at the additional challenges involved with feeding wee ones... when coupled with the logistical challenges of personal-space-challenged life in New York City.
Meghan and her family are currently traveling in New York, and she took Aspen — and the toddler's MacLaren stroller — into a grocery store to shop for some provisions. Navigating the rather narrower and more limited aisles than you might find in another American city — certainly somewhere, perhaps, in Missouri, where the Edmonds family is constructing a truly massive new home — Meghan uses the stroller to do double duty as a shopping cart for her items.
Showing off her makeshift cart, piled with a sack of oranges and a jug of milk, Meghan captioned her Instagram Story, "Does grocery shopping in the city make me a local? If you ask me, then yes."
So if the groceries were in the stroller... then where was Aspen? Don't worry: She was toddling happily alongside — clutching a sippy cup and a toy car (perhaps a NYC taxi?) — helping mommy shop.
