Tamra Judge's Son Ryan Had to Evacuate His Home Amid Fire: "Big Prayers Needed"
"The fire was 5 feet surrounding his property," The Real Housewives of Orange County alum shared.
As wind-driven wildfires spread in Silverado Canyon, Tamra Judge shared an update on her son Ryan Vieth, who lives in the area with his 5-year-old daughter Ava. The Real Housewives of Orange County alum posted a photo of the blazing California hillsides, and offered a harrowing description of her family's escape from home.
"Big prayers needed," Tamra began her post. "Ryan and Ava evacuated their house at 4am today. The fire was 5 feet surrounding his property when they left. He left with a backpack of clothes and Ava’s baby pictures. I pray everyone around him got out safely." She added, grimly: "2020 the gift that keeps on giving!"
On his own feed, Ryan shared photos of the spreading flames. "Another fast moving fire started tonight," he wrote in one post, later writing: "I don't [even] know what to say."
According to The Orange County Register, the incident started on the night of December 2 as a house fire, which then quickly spread to surrounding vegetation. Some residents in the area were being forced to evacuate their homes, while others were faced with voluntary evacuations.
