Here’s Why Tamra Judge Is “Playing Around” with Moving Out of Her Newly Renovated Home
The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member detailed her possible relocation plans.
In the above video, Tamra Judge brings us into her home, which underwent a full renovation back in 2020.
“It’s been a long time since you toured this house and let me tell you — there’s been a lot of changes,” Tamra states of the home in Ladera, California, that she and her husband, Eddie Judge, moved back into and remodeled after leaving their place in Coto de Caza. After giving us a peek at some of the incredible new updates, both structural and decorative, Tamra takes us around the space, highlighting certain details like her proclivity for a “neutral palette” and the new “porcelain countertops” in the kitchen (check out more of the beautiful changes in the video above).
As BravoTV.com reported in 2020, the Judges made a number of changes to the place, including a gut renovation of the kitchen as well as a transformed outdoor space.
More recently, Tamra sat down with BravoTV.com ahead of the RHOC Season 17 premiere, dishing on various details about her and Eddie’s home renovation as well as some potential plans for the future.
Tamra Judge’s Home Renovation
“We’ve renovated almost the entire house,” Tamra said. “The inside has been renovated. The outside has been painted. The courtyard’s been redone. Now we’re at the spot where [we’re wondering if] we want to sink hundreds of thousands of dollars into our backyard. We just paid to have plans done. It’s beautiful. It’s like a resort. Or do we want to move? So we’re kind of in that limbo right now.”
Tamra added that since the housing market in Orange County is so “weird” at the moment, she and Eddie are still weighing their options.
“The prices are still pretty high. And we could get a good penny for our house. But then to buy a house… there’s nothing out there,” she shared. “So we’re just playing around with the idea of possibly selling.”
She then noted, “If we don’t sell, then we’re totally renovating the backyard to make it look like just paradise.”
Where does Tamra Judge want to move?
“I always look because I have my real estate license, so I’m able to get on the [Multiple Listing Network], so I’m constantly looking,” she added. “But right now […] if we were going to move, we’re going to move closer to the beach.”
Tamra did note that “most of the houses” by the beach are “smaller” than what she and Eddie are used to with the Ladera house, which could cause an issue for the couple in more ways than one.
“I have a lot of toys in my garage,” said Eddie, who was also present for the interview, adding that they had a lot of “motorcycles, bicycles, [and] dirt bikes” taking up space.
Tamra, who made an epic comeback on the Season 17 premiere via motorcycle (check it out in the clip above), noted that she’s been “riding dirt bikes for a long time,” adding that she got her “motorcycle license for street just last year.”
“Yeah… we have a lot of toys. Anything with two wheels,” Tamra proudly shared, hinting that it might be some time before she and Eddie really consider a big move.
