Tamra Judge Is "Going Back to What I Love" with Her Next Career Move
“I knew there would come a day when I’d go back," the RHOC alum said of her exciting new job as a realtor.
Tamra Judge is focusing on a lifelong passion as she begins a new gig. The Real Housewives of Orange County alum announced on August 10 that she is returning to her career in real estate, captioning an Instagram post: "Going back to what I love."
“Real Estate has always been my passion. I put it on hold to film RHOC for the past 12 years,” she told Us Weekly on August 10. “I kept my license active while filming because I knew there would come a day when I’d go back. That day has come and I’m excited to join Residential Agent Inc. in Corona Del Mar.”
During an interview on RealiTea With Derek Z that she shared on Instagram, Tamra explained that a friend who works at the company helped guide her decision. "She’s like, 'Real estate is booming right now. I don’t know why you’re not jumping into it," she said. "I’m like, OK, I knew there was a reason why I kept my real estate license active."
"I love houses. I am obsessed with houses. Something people probably didn’t know about me is that I’m on the MLS every single day. I love home decor, I love decorating, I love houses, I love helping people," she said during the interview. "I could just tour houses all day long, so why not get paid for it?"
When a commenter on her post asked about the gym she owns with Eddie Judge, she was quick to explain that she is staying active in her other businesses. "Gym is great ! I own 2 companies [Cut Fitness] [Vena CBD]," she wrote. "Very successful and fully staffed. I’ve had my RE license for years."
Tamra also received words of encouragement from several Housewives. "This is so exciting!" Stephanie Hollman wrote. "Congrats girl." Vicki Gunvalson kept her message short and sweet, writing: "Proud of you gurl."
In January, Tamra opened up to Andy Cohen about the possibility of returning to real estate. "I’ve been renewing my real estate license for like, I don’t know, three months, I’m just bored now, Andy, I don’t have a job!” she joked during their Instagram Live chat at the time. “I’m probably not going back to real estate, but I have to renew my license every four years and I always do it 'cause I’m always looking for a backup plan!”
