Lydia McLaughlin Had the Most Glam Staycation with Her Family
Their accomodations included the "best jacuzzi view," according to The Real Housewives of Orange County alum.
Lydia McLaughlin didn't have to travel too far for a luxe getaway. The Real Housewives of Orange County alum recently shared a look at her family's incredible stay at the Lodge at Torrey Pines in La Jolla, California.
In addition to sights of the Pacific Ocean, the resort boasts what Lydia called "the best jacuzzi view." According to the website, the hot tub is located above the pool under the gazebo and overlooks the Torrey Pines golf course.
During their stay, Lydia and her husband, Doug Mclaughlin, enjoyed a bottle of bubbly while taking in the gorgeous sights. While Lydia raved about the jacuzzi, she also shared several clips of the family of five, including their sons, Stirling, Maverick and Roman, having fun in the resort's massive chlorine pool. In one snap, Roman hesitantly attempted to balance on Doug's shoulders. "Roman is like his mom," Lydia wrote. "And didn't want to get his hair wet."
The family also got active with a croquet game on a grassy terrace and hilariously attempted to form a family pyramid back at their room.
Although the family is happily enjoying their sweet escape, when they return home, they will have no shortage of fun activities to keep them busy. In addition to the newly-added zip line directly above their stunning pool, the home also features a disco ball in the living room, a ping pong table in the dining room, and an expansive grassy backyard.
Lydia recently shared an Instagram Story of Doug hilariously flopping from the zip line onto a float in their pool, adding the caption: "[Doug] is the love of my life."
