Heather Dubrow Reveals Some Big News About What’s Next for Her and Terry Dubrow
The RHOC cast member opened up about the “direction” she and her husband are going in these days.
Heather Dubrow is thinking about her next chapter with Dr. Terry Dubrow, and unsurprisingly, it involves some incredible real estate.
Last year, The Real Housewives of Orange County couple sold their iconic house (watch the video above to take a tour), and bought a Los Angeles penthouse. However, Heather told The Wrap in April that there was “a little bit of a misconception” about their living situation.
“We didn’t actually move [to Century City]. We bought a place there, and that’s supposed to be a place for me and Terry to live someday. Like when the kids leave,” she explained. “We are actually still living in Orange County. Our kids go to school there. We’re still in Orange County.”
Two months later, Heather opened up about her and Terry’s future real estate plans in a new interview with The Wrap.
Heather Dubrow on What’s Next for Her and Terry
In the interview published on June 28, Heather revealed whether she and Terry intend to move to Los Angeles full-time after buying the penthouse. “That apartment was supposed to be for me and Terry for someday when [the kids] go. But we found the perfect spot, and so we grabbed it,” she said, noting, “I think that’s probably the direction we’re going in.”
“But you know, what’s cool is when we sold the house, we’re like newlyweds again. Where are we going? What are we doing? The possibilities are endless,” she continued. “So we’re really exploring all possibilities. And plus, I love design. I’m not really looking to build ground-up right now. But I am looking for a new reno project, and so I’ve been looking in Orange County and Beverly Hills. Like we were talking about the universe, we’re gonna see what opens up.”
How Heather Dubrow Feels About Selling Her Former House
In the video above, Heather accurately declares that her former home had “become sort of a character” on RHOC, but that doesn’t mean she struggled with the decision to say goodbye to it.
“We had lived there longer than we had ever lived anywhere,” Heather explained on the June 21 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. “We lived there for six years. We’ve been together almost 30 years, and we’ve never lived longer than three years in a place, until this house, because we tend to just redo houses and do real estate, and that’s part of our thing.”
Heather went on to explain, “I was like the house manager. It was a small hotel. Not to be ungrateful… very grateful, but it was a job. With two kids gone and another one out the door and the [fourth] one dangling on, I’m kind of like looking forward to living in the apartment and being alone.”
