Let’s be real here, there are mansions… and then there’s Dubrow Chateau, that gargantuan $21 million home built by Heather Dubrow and her husband, Terry. Located in the tony Newport Beach nabe — and directly overlooking the ocean — the 22,000-square-foot home is the epitome of extravagance.
During a recent tour The Real Housewives of Orange County alum gave to ET, Heather spilled the tea on the items in her home that made the biggest dent in her checkbook. Check out her manse's priciest features below!
Bubbly Art
Like, um, that stunning Champagne art wall installation thing? Well, considering it comprises of 300 bottles of (chilled!) Veuve Clicquot… it costs a cool $12,000 to stock.
Showtime!
And let’s not forget the movie theater — you remember, the one that suffered a major flood twice?! Well, with 24 reclining seats that each have their own phone charging station and a massive screen, the room cost a whopping $1 million to outfit.
So. Much. Wood.
And then there’s the home’s many, many, cabinets. We’ve seen Heather’s laundry room, after all, so when she revealed that she spent $630,000 on all of the home’s cabinetry, well, actually, we were still pretty surprised. That’s a lot of cabinets, and a whole lot of money, people!
A Soaring Entry
More fun facts about the seven-bedroom, 14-bathroom home: The kitchen/family room combo is three quarters the length of a football field and that entryway ceiling is 30 feet high!
Considering the cost of some of the mansion’s standout features — The glowing basement bar! The etched family tree wall! The outdoor BBQ pavilion! — still remain a mystery, we suddenly understand why the home added up to a cool $21 million.
