Heather Dubrow Threw a Sublimely Chic Dinner Party at Dubrow Chateau: Look Inside
No surprise here: The Real Housewives of Orange County alum knows how to throw a decadent affair.
Thanks to her YouTube channel "Heather’s Closet," Heather Dubrow has been giving us loads of footage of Dubrow Chateau, with seemingly no room left unseen. Want to see The Real Housewives of Orange County alum’s sumptuous private office? Or where the kids blow off some steam? Or the home’s enormous movie theater? Since opening the 22,000-square-foot home’s doors to the world, Heather has unveiled every aspect of meticulous design that went into the stunning property.
And while we have no complaints... um, we kind of want more. In mostly every peek we’ve gotten of the house, it’s been empty — devoid of kids, Terry, friends, family. Call us nostalgic, but we’re craving a good old-fashioned Dubrow-helmed party like we used to see on RHOC! Luckily, Heather heard our silent requests and in the most recent episode, she revealed what a dinner party in her crazy chic dining room looks like. And guess what? It. Was. Gorgeous.
More about that dining room: Complete with a hidden door to a butler’s kitchen (that would rival any home’s main kitchen!), the space has a square table that can seat between eight to 12 people. “I love dinner parties,” Heather explained in the tour. “It actually took me a long time to have a dinner party in this room because I was waiting for the Champagne wall I designed... but six months ago I finally threw a dinner party here and it was epic. The décor was amazing, the food was phenomenal, company was great, we played music, we ended up dancing, it was so, so fun.”

Not Your Average Dining Room Table
Preferring an intimate table that allows all of her guests to converse with one another during a meal, Heather opted for a square shape to suit the room. While normally the table seats eight, for this party she rented narrower chairs that allowed her to squeeze in four extra seats.
A Gilded Tableau
Anchored by two golden velvet runners, the black lacquer table was also topped with gold-plated flatware and gold-speckled linen napkins. We're more than a little obsessed with Heather's take on the ho-hum placemat — she opted for elevated rectangular "mats" that are effortlessly chic.
Whimsical Details
Talk about creative! Heather used brass fortune cookies as each guest's place card holder, tucking their name on strips of paper identical to the ones you'd find in your Chinese takeout.
A Stunning Centerpiece
Like her fellow former Housewife Lisa Vanderpump, Heather loves her a centerpiece chock full of succulents and roses. We love how this one also combines terrariums, candles, and gemstones scattered about.
Sparkling Serving Ware
It wouldn't be Heather's house if there weren't some glitz and glam intertwined into everything, so it's no surprise she incorporated beautiful rhinestone-encrusted serving ware into the event.
An Exquisite Evening
The best part of the evening? The view! Heather purposely designed the room to offer up a stunning view from every side of the table. Some guests face the room's gorgeous fireplace, others get to take in that Champagne wall installation, a few can soak up the water and fire features outside, while those facing the salon get to stare (in awe) at the etched window Heather worked so hard to design. A win-win for all!
