Sonja Morgan Reveals Her Daughter, Quincy, Is Making a Cross-Country Move
The Real Housewives of New York City alum helped her daughter prep for a major relocation after her recent college graduation.
Sonja Morgan’s daughter, Quincy Morgan, is all grown up.
The Real Housewives of New York City daughter just graduated from the University of Pennsylvania on May 15 and took some adorable selfies and group photos in the process. “Thanks [University of Pennsylvania]. I’ll find more photos soon,” Quincy shared on Instagram at the commencement ceremony.
Sonja, who will appear alongside Luann de Lesseps on Luann and Sonja: Welcome to Crappie Lake this summer, later posted a tribute to her daughter on Instagram. “The proudest day of my life. My darling daughter graduated Summa Cum Laude at The University of Penn,” the proud mom wrote. “I would say best of all she’s happy and happens to be a well-rounded, kind, and humble young woman with great aspirations. All this fused with innate talent.” Later, Sonja revealed that the recent graduate is making a cross-country move.
Where is Quincy moving?
Following the graduation ceremony on May 16, Sonja shared an Instagram video showing how she was helping her daughter move out of her apartment in Philadelphia to relocate to Los Angeles.
“My baby’s moving to LA,” Sonja, who will join Season 5 of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, aka RHUGT: RHONY Legacy, revealed in the caption of the post.
“My goodness, it’s happening!” Sonja said in the clip, in which Quincy was seen jumping up and down with excitement. “We’re going, we’re going!” the college grad exclaimed.
Quincy also shared some behind-the-scenes details from the move, sharing photos of her mom “sitting pretty” while the movers were hard at work. Another photo showed a box of Quincy’s things, while an additional adorable snapshot saw the pair smiling as they prepped for the major life change. The mother-daughter duo teamed up with Piece of Cake Moving and Storage to properly pack up all of Quincy’s things.
What is Quincy doing after college?
A few years back, in the video you can watch above, Sonja revealed in an interview with The Daily Dish that Quincy was interested in “the finance side” she “got from [her father].”
She added: “She is a math wizard. She got that from the J.P. Morgan side. But she got the humility from the John Adams side, you know, from John Adams, John Quincy Adams, and I like to think my side of the family has humility and religion.” Quincy has also shown an interest in painting and fashion.
As far as the decor for Quincy’s next apartment, we’ll be sure to keep you dialed in for those details. If her last living space is any indication of Quincy’s ideal aesthetics, her forthcoming L.A. space may include some colorful artwork and other chic pieces.
Moreover, we’ll be tuned in to see if the West Coast–bound 22-year-old keeps the large sectional sofa from Arhaus Sonja called “a lifetime investment” when she moved Quincy into her last place in September 2020.
