See How Kristen Taekman Decorated Her Home for Christmas: "Finally Done"
The RHUGT mom went all out on her LA home's holiday decor.
Kristen Taekman is wrapping up 2023 in style.
In the week following her Thanksgiving celebrations, The Real Housewives of New York City alum gifted fans with an inside look at her decorating process for the holidays. Kristen documented the undertaking in a short Instagram video that began with a quick trip to a SoCal HomeGoods. The post, titled "Decorate for Christmas with Me," showed the former RHONY cast member in the store parking lot as she did a bit of stretching before hitting the aisles.
“It’s Christmas time!!!” she captioned the December 5 video, which was soundtracked by Mariah Carey’s “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home).”
Kristen proceeded to walk toward the Christmas decor section, where she found a lush garland with red ornaments as well as a matching wreath with pinecones, deep-red ribbons, and gold-tone baubles.
“As if we don’t already have enough stuff to decorate,” she captioned a clip of her adding the items to a cart.

The video then cut to the Taekmans' Los Angeles living room, where a Christmas tree had been placed in front of the large windows. The shot also showed several large tubs filled with holiday decorations, like more garlands, some red and white pom poms, and strings of white lights.
“Anyone else spend more time untangling the lights than actually decorating,” Kristen added before revealing the results. “Finally done.”

In addition to the twinkling lights, the tree was adorned with mostly white ornaments, including a few snowflake-, gift box-, and tree-shaped figurines. Kristen also added a sparkly star topper as well as a bright red tree skirt, which went perfectly with a handful of red ornaments.
The former model went on to provide a glimpse at the rest of her Christmas decor, like a few glass trees on the coffee table and a red-berry garland on her entertainment center. She concluded the video with a close-up shot of her wall-mounted TV, which was playing the 1954 holiday classic, White Christmas.
Kristen’s husband, Josh Taekman, was clearly impressed by his wife's hard work. Shortly after Kristen posted the video, the entrepreneur hopped in the comments section and left a series of heart-eye emojis.

Kristen and Josh live in the LA abode along with their two children: a 15-year-old son named Cassius and an 11-year-old daughter named Kingsley.
