Dorinda Medley doesn't have to travel far to take a trip down memory lane. On The Real Housewives of New York City's May 7 episode, Dorinda paid a visit to the Upper East Side townhouse she once shared with her late husband, Richard.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New York City on Bravo Tuesdays at 9/8c and stream next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

"Today I've decided I'm going to go on full Mrs. Medley," she said in an interview during the episode, "and visit my old haunts."

As she stopped to take a look at the home's exterior, Dorinda was surprised that one touch she put on the property was still there, noting: "I can't believe I put in this gate and it's still good."

During the episode, Dorinda recalled several sweet memories from her time in the home. "The townhouse was a very special place for not only me and Richard, but for our family," she said. "He carried me over the threshold through the front door. We had a huge garden, we had beautiful dinners there, we hosted parties. Everybody from Mrs. Clinton to Madeleine Albright to Desmond Tutu have all walked through these doors."

She added: "It just was a really beautiful, growing, loving time for us."

As she walked away, she said goodbye to the abode and admitted: "I hope you miss me, I miss you."

Now, Dorinda lives in an apartment in NYC’s Sutton Place neighborhood. Because she lives alone, she put a personal touch on the home by decorating it with pops of pink. “I love the pink, now that Hannah doesn’t live with me and I don’t have husbands living with me, and it’s just little ol’ me, I’m going pink,” Dorinda told BravoTV.com in the video above. “I love the pink couches, I mean these things are amazing!”

"I know everybody’s into this white on white on white on white, but I think your apartment should represent you and it should be a mix of high and low," she continued. "People should be able to come to your apartment and know you a little better.”
