Dorinda Medley Also Has Thoughts on the Napkins from Archie's Dinner
Dorinda shared her opinion on the talked-about napkins from RHONY's August 10 episode.
Ramona Singer takes great pride in her over-the-top tablescapes, and when she arrived at Eboni K. Williams' friend Archie Gottesman's home for her Black Shabbat dinner, she had strong thoughts on the table setting.
"These are placemats," Ramona said on the August 10 episode of The Real Housewives of New York City, as she held up a napkin that Archie made and proceeded to wrap it around her body. "I could make this like a halter [top] or something."
Sonja Morgan predicted the exchange was an indication of what would come later in the night. "This is the tip of the iceberg with Ramona, and I know that," she said. "Picking on the napkins as too big, it's only gonna get worse from here."
Once Ramona expressed her feelings on the napkins' size, she went on to comment on their different designs, telling Archie, "They're very interesting, but you don't match any napkins." However, Archie (who is the founder of nonprofit organization JewBelong) explained, "I don't want to match them."
On Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen's episode the same night, Andy asked the viewers at home and guest Dorinda Medley to weigh in on the napkin size debate. While 73% of viewers who took the live poll felt the napkins were not too big, Bravo's resident "nice-maker" had different thoughts.
"For me, at Blue Stone Manor, when they start to look like a blanket I just don't think it's acceptable," the RHONY alum said.
"So they might be a little too big?" Andy asked, to which Dorinda replied, "Yeah, a little too big." Meanwhile, fellow guest Jackie Hoffman quipped, "I'm a paper towel girl."
