Bethenny Throws a 50th Birthday Kitchen "Island" Party with Daughter Bryn (PICS)
The Real Housewives of New York City alum went all out on a cheeky tropical setup in her Hamptons abode.
Following Kim Kardashian's buzzed-about 40th birthday trip to a private island, Bethenny Frankel and her daughter, Bryn, were feeling inspired to have an "island" party of their own at their Hamptons abode.
"Took the family to my private (kitchen) island…" The Real Housewives of New York City alum wrote, echoing Kim's caption with the hashtag, "This is 50." In the fun photos, Bethenny, who turns 50 on November 4, and Bryn are seated atop the massive marble island wearing prop sunglasses and holding up drinks. To really set the scene, the mother-daughter duo placed shells, a candle, an illuminated "bar" sign, a small painting of a beach, and a stuffed flamingo in front of them.
Even their dogs, Biggy and Smallz, got into the vacation spirit as they joined Bethenny and Bryn on the island with sunglasses placed atop their heads.
When a commenter jokingly asked if she quarantined "for two weeks first," Bethenny replied, "We did...on the couch."
Over the last several months, Bethenny and Bryn have spent plenty of time in the kitchen, and it seems Bryn shares her mom's culinary passion and skillset. In an August Instagram Story video, Bethenny proudly showcased her 10-year-old making a crêpe filled with melted chocolate chips. "You're an amazing chef," Bethenny said. "This is Bryn's recipe. Nothing to do with me."
