Sonja Morgan has many enviable qualities, but one of the finest is her willingness to poke fun at herself. Case in point: when The Real Housewives of New York City entrepreneur moved into a new apartment in New York City's Columbus Circle, viewers saw her and her assistant actually duct taping her monogrammed towels to her bedroom windows before some special company came over later that night.
She's since gotten some proper noise-shielding electric blinds, but on Sunday she posted a meme poking fun at her old choice in decor.
"Nothing you can’t do without a little duct tape & monogrammed towels [clap emoji]," she wrote on Instagram as a caption to a meme that reads, "You can take the girl out of Grey Gardens, but you can't take Grey Gardens out of the girl."
“Well, it’s classy, I have a monogram!" Sonja said of the towels a few months back on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. "And it’s practical. I cook in a toaster oven, I use Sharpie markers — I’m a practical woman.”
