Dorinda Medley’s Christmas Tree Is Better Than Your Wildest Dreams
Further proof that the Real Housewife of New York City knows how to “make it nice.”
The Real Housewives of New York City’s Dorinda Medley knows a thing or two about making it nice: She’s done it time and time again at her country house in the Berkshires, as well as her Upper East Side pad. Just earlier this year, though, Dorinda decided to move on down to a beautiful apartment at Oriana at River Tower, which comes equipped with a 24-hour concierge service, a laundry valet, and, of course, a state-of-the-art gym. Since this move happened only a month ago, we were eagerly awaiting how Dorinda would spruce up the home for the holidays, much like she’s done in the past. And of course, we weren’t disappointed.
On Saturday, December 8, Dorinda posted a pic of her Christmas tree on Instagram. First of all, the tree is absolutely massive, reaching the top of the ceiling of Dorinda’s sizable home. Next, the ornaments cover up the entire tree, with baubles and tinsel galore. Finally, the presents at the bottom are shiny and festive, with little teddy bears adding a festive touch. But since Dorinda is pretty much the queen of Christmas decor, we really shouldn’t be surprised: In fact, just recently, she lit the tree at the New York Palace Hotel, proving once again how much she loved the holidays by referring to this honor as “a dream come true.”
Want some tips about how you too can decorate like Dorinda this holiday season? Well, she recently revealed to Home & Design that her favorite brand is none other than Frontgate. "I love Frontgate,” she dished. “And Grandin Road, they put out a catalog and I literally save it and I circle things and then order them.” She also discussed the reason having such a festive home is so important to her: “I love the response that people have to my decorating, it makes them feel at home,” she said. “I love when people are happy in my home.” Well, we sure can’t see anyone being unhappy with that tree around!
