When the Southern Charm matriarch met the RHONJ cast member, the two discovered a surprising shared interest.
At the party Margaret Josephs attended on New Year's Day, nobody's husband ended up in the pool — and there wasn't a hair pull to speak of. Instead, it was all fast friendship, shared interests, and (we can only imagine) a martini or two, served by a butler you might recognize.
As documented on Instagram, The Real Housewives of New Jersey business buff spent the holiday with Patricia Altschul. While at the Southern Charm matriarch's historic home, the two ladies quickly discovered a shared passion. And just like that, a deep connection was formed.
Sharing a photo of herself and Margaret posing in front of her stocking-laden fireplace, Patricia wrote: "Had such fun with [Margaret Josephs.] We have so much in common discussing our love of historic homes...my new bff.. just love her."
Oh, to be a fly on the wall at this gathering. We can just imagine the conversation that flowed as the martinis were poured. Did the ladies commiserate over Margaret's endless home renovations? Did they gush over Patricia's panoramic wallpaper? We can only imagine. But at least we'll always have this memento, historic in its own right:
