Melissa Gorga Shows What a Fall Day Looks Like in Her New Backyard
The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom was "chilling" with an unexpected visitor near her poolside cabanas.
Melissa Gorga is used to having guests. The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member and her husband, Joe Gorga, are ace entertainers who have hosted everything from a lavish pre-prom bash to an Italian-themed party replete with a limoncello-making station. And as the clip above proves, their house at the Jersey Shore has its own beach club, where friends and family members are always welcome. "We have a huge Italian family, and it really is like an open-door policy at the Shore house," Melissa says. However, Melissa wasn't quite expecting the visitor she found at her New Jersey pool on a recent fall morning.
The Envy owner has previously given us a peek at the gorgeous backyard in her family's new primary home. She and Joe revealed renovations to their outdoor space in June — and they had every right to be proud. “We got this done. Let me tell you something, it looks gorgeous,” Joe said in an Instagram Story video. “Love this.” He also showed off some of the pool's features, noting: “Look at that — waterfalls."
The contractor gave a full look at the gleaming pool, which has two loungers, four firepits, and special lighting. “Look at these lights. Gorgeous!” he declared. Fast forward to October, and the pool's still looking grand — perhaps just a little woodsier.

In an October Instagram share, Melissa shared a peek at the current status of her yard. The paved landscaping looked lovely, and the trees were just starting to turn. The cushy white cabanas looked as inviting as ever. And in the midst of it all, a deer was casually seated. "I mean ... Just chilling," Melissa quipped in her caption.
Meanwhile, Melissa's not the only RHONJ cast member who has offered a recent glimpse of her pool. On September 28, Rachel Fuda invited followers to ask her anything on Instagram. When one fan asked, "Is there a pool update?" Rachel replied with a photo.
"It's done!" she wrote, adding a heart emoji. The photo showed a gorgeous pool with its own resort-style amenity. At the edge of the swimming spot, four white stools were submerged in water in front of a glossy black bar. Baically, Rachel has her own swim-up bar!
Last November, Margaret Josephs announced that she was working on having her own pool installed. "The pool [is] going in today… let the construction begin,” she said in an Instagram Story shared on November 21, 2022.
