Melissa Gorga recently took to her Instagram to sing the praises of her Good American jeans. And though they look totally great on her, we couldn’t help but be distracted by the gorgeously revamped dining room in her massive New Jersey home. And just what is so pretty about it? Let’s go in for a deeper look. 

The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom has the kind of dining space you just don’t use every day. It’s one of those rooms reserved for special occasions, like big holiday dinners and parties, which means Melissa could go for drama and not have to worry so much about kids and stains — hence the dining room chairs, which are upholstered in white linen. We think they are totally stunning and go well with her modern dark wood dining table, also ideal for big family gatherings. The sleek dining furniture works to offset the over-the-top ornateness of the room’s ceiling, which includes molding and trim as well as arches and columns. 

The lighting fixture appears to be brass and the mirrors are also framed in brass, which brings warmth to the room. Melissa ties it all together with a cream rug that gives the room a cozy vibe. Let's hope there are no spillers this holiday season!
