Margaret Josephs Shows the Stunning “Final Touches” on Her Newly Renovated Bathroom
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member’s bathroom renovation is complete with a “statement”-making new addition.
Margaret Josephs’ glamorous bathroom is finally complete.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member has spent years renovating her home, and after completing her fabulous new kitchen, ballroom, outdoor kitchen, and office in 2021, she started working on her upstairs area, including her primary bathroom.
By July of this year, the bathroom was almost complete, but Margaret was waiting on a few key fixtures. In a July 19 Instagram Story video, she noted that the bathroom renovation was “finally a hair away from being done,” and explained, “I’m just waiting for some handles.”
“Look at what I have to use for a handle on my shower door right now: a sock,” she shared as she showed the process of opening the door. “’Cause I don’t want to damage the glass… The hole is done. I think it’s pretty genius.”
Although it may have been “genius,” thankfully it was only temporary. As Margaret revealed in a September 19 Instagram Story, the “final touches” in the room are now done. “I love my shower door handle!!” she captioned the photo, tagging Emtek Hardware. “Such a statement, the brass enhances everything.”
As Margaret showed in her July social media share, the room also features “beautiful slabs from Daltile.”
Margaret Josephs’ Home Renovation
As RHONJ viewers are well aware, Margaret’s ongoing renovation hasn’t exactly been easy. “[Updating] a 115-year-old house isn’t like building a new house. I had a feeling it was gonna take a while. I mean, not this long,” she told BravoTV.com in 2021. “A renovation like this is not for the faint of heart.”
In the same interview, she shared what it’s like working on the massive project with her husband, Joe Benigno. “Joe and I are a great team,” she shared. “He really gives me carte blanche on the design, so we never disagree on the design aspect. He just hates when I put time constraints on something. Because I think everything is just zip, zip, zip, and he’s like, ‘We can’t do that.’”
While her bathroom is now finally complete, she has also been spending time this year transforming her backyard. During a text Q&A session with Bravo fans in March, Margaret wrote, “We are doing a huge pool right now, and we’re doing a ton of landscaping!”
