See Inside the Italian Town Where Joe Giudice Has Been Living
Teresa Giudice's estranged husband is living in an old, beautiful Italian town that wasn't built for cars.
In The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 10 finale, set to air on February 26, viewers will get to see the emotional reunion between Joe Giudice and his family. At the time of the taping, Joe had recently moved to Italy while awaiting a decision in his deportation case, and had just started his new life in Salerno.
In the video above, Teresa Giudice explains: "The town where Joe's living is Sala Consilina. That's where he was born, that's where his parents were born, and that's where my parents were born."
The video showcases the town's steep hills and streets lined with stones, and lots of lots of stairs — which makes for quite the grueling climb. "This town was built so many years ago that it wasn't even built for cars," Teresa shares. "We can't just drive up to the house where Joe is."
At least there was some scenery during the ascent. As the girls climb up the hill toward their dad's new home, we see laundry air-drying on balconies and brick and stucco walls washed in pastel shades of pink and yellow. There's even a tiny roadside alter, holding flowers and a painted angel.
Watch the clip above to catch a glimpse of the Italian town where the Giudice family has roots, and to catch a preview of the emotional reunion.
