Dolores Explains Why Her Son Is Living With Her Boyfriend, Even Though She's Not
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member reveals why her son, Frankie, is living at the house she renovated with boyfriend David — without her.
Dolores Catania's unique living situation just got even more interesting. On The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Season 11 premiere, Dolores revealed that she was not living in the house she built with her boyfriend, David Principe. However, while she continued to live with her ex-husband, Frank Catania, their son, Frankie, was residing with David in the new abode.
"I built the house with my boyfriend, David. Didn't move in," she explained during the episode. "I live at my house with my ex-husband and then my son, Frankie, comes home from school during the pandemic and decides to study for his GMAT test to get into graduate school for business. Now my son lives in my boyfriend's house studying."
Dolores added that "as much as I would like to say my home is the safe haven," it is "not a peaceful place" due to her mischievous dogs.
David's house, however, is the ideal study spot for Frankie, according to Dolores. "David's house is basically the quietest, cleanest house in the world, so I couldn't get offended that Frankie went and lived there," she said. "I was grateful that he had that place to go."
As Dolores previously revealed, Frank also temporarily moved in with David following an injury he suffered in February 2020. "They live together," she told Andy Cohen during Part 1 of the RHONJ Season 10 reunion. "I don't live there. He's in David's house."
"David wakes up in the middle of the night to give him his medicine," she added. " David gave him a shower!"
