Kameron Westcott Hilariously Shares Her Home School Struggles Amid the Pandemic
The Real Housewives of Dallas cast member gave a look inside a particularly messy day at "The Westcott Academy."
Kameron Westcott is the first to admit that homeschooling her kids amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak has turned into a bit of a mess.
In a May 6 Instagram Story, The Real Housewives of Dallas cast member showed the aftermath of a day of learning. "Chocolate milk, orange peel, Pirate's Booty," she said in a video as she showed the clutter surrounding a workspace. "Wow, really? Someone's getting extra chores tomorrow."
She captioned the clip: "The Westcott Academy doesn't put up with this mess..."
Shortly after, Kameron posted two photos showing herself and her son, Cruise, resting in her luxe bed. "Headmaster Kameron is DONE and Westcott Academy is CLOSED until further notice (tomorrow morning)," she wrote. "Homeschool... I have some choice words for you!! Shoutout to the moms that homeschool year round, I don’t know how you do it!!"
For emphasis, she quipped: "How many days do we have ‘til summer??"
While the recent messy room may not be the best example, Kameron joked last month that she has included chores as part of her kids' new curriculum. "Here at Westcott Academy... we teach more than just school," she captioned an April Instagram post. "We teach VALUABLE life skills for REAL WORLD application. . . Today Headmaster Kameron taught our star pupils Cruise and Hilton how to clean windows and plunge a toilet."
Kameron is also holding class in the kitchen. "Today at Westcott Academy we had our first home-ec cooking class!!" she captioned an April photo of her and Cruise in their kitchen, "Learning ALL the valuable skills including cooking over here!!"
While the family is spending plenty of time on educational activities, they are also enjoying downtime in their gorgeous pool and spacious hot tub — even in 57 degrees!
