Kameron & Court Westcott Explain Why They Lowered the Price of Their House
The Real Housewives of Dallas cast member had an important reason to be "extremely worried" that her family's pink-filled abode wasn't selling.
Kameron Westcott recently said goodbye to her pink-filled mansion to move into a different gorgeous abode — but the process was far from simple, as we learned on The Real Housewives of Dallas' February 9 episode.
"You know that we had some buyers looking at the house," Court Westcott said during the episode. "Well it's their third time to tour the house and they finally decided that they didn't want our house so we're going to lower the price even more."
When the couple's daughter, Hilton, asked if the new price would be "3 million," Court replied, "No, not that low."
Kameron was skeptical, to say the least, asking Court, "Do you really feel like that's a good idea?" While Court admitted the price drop wasn't exactly ideal, he wanted to move ahead with the plan in order to sell the home. "We built this house 10 years ago for 4.7 [million dollars], gonna lower it to 4.4 [million dollars]" he said. "We're gonna get a haircut on this for sure."
For Kameron, selling the house in a timely manner was crucial in order to move into her next incredible home. "I'm extremely worried because every day that we're not selling our house is a chance for someone to go snatch my dream house," she said during an interview. "What would I do then?"
Eventually, it all worked out for the family as they moved into their new home in September 2020, four months after putting their former house on the market for $5,125,000. Shortly after settling into her new digs, Kameron explained why she moved, declaring on Instagram, "We needed more space" before adding a shrugging emoji.
