Lisa Rinna Has No Problem Living in the House Harry Built with His First Wife
"I was like, 'F--k it. I don't care. I'll live in your house!'" the RHOBH cast member recalled of her decision to move in 28 years ago.
Nearly three decades ago, Lisa Rinna decided she wasn't going to let Harry Hamlin's personal history keep her from moving into his stunning abode.
"He built it with his first wife," The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member explained in the Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen: @ Home video above of the home Harry first lived in with Laura Johnson. "Then they got divorced, and then his second wife would not live in this house. She refused to live in this house. So he moved out and lived with her and then when they broke up, he moved back in and I was like, 'F--k it. I don't care. I'll live in your house!'"
Now, Lisa knows she made the right choice. "I've been here 28 years," she told Andy and fellow guest Sutton Stracke. "I love this house, I mean, I really do."
As it turns out, moving into the house was a unique experience for more reasons than one. "I'd never lived in a house, I lived in apartments," she said. "I moved into Harry's house and I never left."
Through the glimpses she shares on social media, it's not hard to understand why the house is Lisa's dream home. In addition to the chic home gym with an infrared sauna, spa-like bathroom, serene sitting area, and luxe living room, she also has an abundance of outdoor space to enjoy on the property.
Although the couple has had their fair share of backyard woes (including gophers and an enormous electrical pole), the outdoor area is absolutely stunning thanks to a "luscious garden," flowering trees, an expansive grassy area, and a jaw-dropping view.
Harry, who has called their backyard a "sanctuary," has taken full advantage of their outdoor patio space by building a garden. While Lisa is thoroughly impressed with her husband's hobby, she doesn't quite know for certain what he's growing. “That’s rosemary, I know that,” she said in a March Instagram video, “Lettuce, butter lettuce, romaine lettuce, is that parsley? Or carrots. Is that cilantro?”
