As Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers began to get settled into their new Malibu rental home, they decided to temporarily revamp their backyard for a dinner party featured on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' May 6 episode.

In true RHOBH fashion, Denise was not messing around when it came to the décor for the evening. Within a day, she transformed her previously bare grassy space (see the first photo below) into a backyard that looked equal parts idyllic and luxe with the addition of wood tables, string lights, a pizza oven, and a sleek white bar. The most eye-catching feature, however, was a massive ice sculpture in the shape of a diamond.

"Don't you think this is a nice touch with our pizza party?" Denise asked Aaron of the sculpture as they were setting up for the evening. "You always have to have a little sparkle, even if it's casual."

That sparkle even carried over to cups being used for the night, each of which featured a large diamond printed on the base.

When Kyle Richards arrived, she was taken aback by usually laid-back Denise's setup. "This is not the Denise that I've known," Kyle said in an interview on the episode. "New house, who dis?"

While the décor was certainly "fancy," as Kyle put it, Denise took a more casual approach to the food, offering her guests a variety of pizzas and ice cream.

"We're not having your typical, you know, Beverly Hills dinner party," Denise said in the episode. "We don't want dessert that people couldn't pronounce, so we're like 'F--k it, we're gonna have a f--king goddamn sundae bar.'"

While the party took a turn for the dramatic (to say the least), at least the castmates had an incredible backdrop to air their grievances with one another.
