Kandi Burruss & Todd Tucker Reveal a Surprising Fact About Their House
The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member and her husband have very different feelings about a new use for their home.
Season 15 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta has documented Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker working on their upcoming film, The Pass, with Drew Sidora, and on Episode 15, we learned a surprising behind-the-scenes detail about the set.
"We actually used a lot of things that we own. We're filming at our house," Todd shared in an interview during the episode, which aired on August 20. "We're saving at least six figures on location fees."
Although Todd seemed excited about the benefits of filming in the couple's home, Kandi wasn't exactly on the same page. “That part I could have [done] without,” she quipped. Later, Kandi elaborated on which scenes in particular she wished were filmed outside of her home.
“We used my house for, like, the main house. Drew had to do some of her sex scenes in my bed!” she told Sanya Richards-Ross at Shereé Whitfield's sip-and-see. In an interview, she added, “I understand my husband wants to keep the budget down. But in my bed, it's just—” before letting her grimace finish the sentence.

In addition to transforming their Atlanta home into a movie set, the couple has also recently been spending more time at Todd's newly renovated New Jersey condo. Although, as viewers saw during Season 14 of RHOA, Kandi wasn't initially interested in keeping the apartment that Todd once shared with an ex, she has since come around to the idea.
On the July 23 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the titular host noted, “I was so interested to find out — Kandi, tell everyone where you’re staying while you’re in New York City,” to which Kandi responded, “Well, I’ve been staying at the Jersey crib.”
“Unbelievable,” Andy said. “After all that.”
Kandi went on to explain why she’s been “really liking” the condo lately. “Todd, he totally renovated, you know, remodeled and everything, and it’s really nice,” she said. “I’ve been hanging out there. I’ve got a new restaurant I like in the area, [Ventanas Restaurant and Lounge]. I went to SoJo, the spa, [and] loved it! So, I don’t know, maybe I’m a Jersey girl now.”
To that, Andy quipped, ”Housewives of Jersey, here she comes!”
