Kandi Burruss Provides a New Look Inside Her Atlanta Home
The RHOA mom provided a peek while showing off her daughter Blaze’s vocal skills.
Kandi Burruss reminded us there’s no place like home.
As she prepares to kick off The Wiz musical revival, The Real Housewives of Atlanta mom blessed fans with another peek inside her family’s ATL abode. Kandi shared the new look in a September 15 Instagram post in which she spotlighted her youngest daughter’s vocal talent.
“My baby [Blaze Tucker] was singing the song she learned at school,” Kandi captioned the adorable video, followed by the heart and music note emojis.
The footage began with the 3-year-old girl belting out a tune in the kitchen as her mother slowly approached. After realizing Kandi had the camera up, Blaze abruptly stopped and ran up to her mom with a huge smile on her face.
“What are you doing?” the little one asked. “You’re trying to take my picture!”
Kandi told Blaze she was simply trying to record her singing and then encouraged the preschooler to continue. Blaze happily agreed and returned to the kitchen to finish the song.
“Wooo!” Kandi said at the end of the clip. “Go, Blaze! Go, Blaze!”
Kandi Burruss shares another peek at her kitchen
The post not only showcased the little girl’s vocal chops but also highlighted the home’s beautiful interior. As the Atlanta mom made her way toward her daughter — whom she shares with her husband, Todd Tucker — viewers got another glimpse at the mansion’s spacious corridor.
The area features light tile floors that go perfectly with the taupe baseboards, stair railing, and double back doors. Although the color scheme is quite neutral and classic, the space is anything but boring — and that’s thanks in large part to the floor-to-ceiling gallery wall leading to the kitchen.
About 30 seconds into the clip, Kandi made her way into the cooking area, where Blaze proceeded to sing. The footage showed off an elegant yet functional space with light-colored wood cabinetry, a stone backsplash, checkered floor tiling, and a granite-topped island.
Kandi Burruss’ “Eternal” Home Renovation
Kandi purchased the Atlanta mansion back in 2012 and decided to renovate it about seven years later.
“Just so you know, we’re remodeling in there,” she explained in a 2019 vlog. “That’s why there’s plastic up from all the dust from breaking up tiles.”
Fast-forward to spring 2022, when the Grammy-winning artist revealed the renovation had not been completed, as Todd was still “dealing with contractors and all that craziness.”
“We didn’t renovate. We are still renovating,” she told Bravo Insider. “We are in a terrible place of eternal renovation… Starting conversations with people [who are] supposed to do certain things, they never do it, or we get so busy, we get caught up with something else, we get another project, we start putting all our efforts into that. You know, it’s just a million different things. It’s a mess.”
