Cynthia Bailey Received the Most Beautiful Mother’s Day Gift from Leon
The Real Housewives of Atlanta mom received a sweet surprise from her ex.
Cynthia Bailey and her ex Leon Robinson share a whole lot of history. Not only did they date back in the ’90s, but they welcomed a daughter, Noelle Robinson, on November 9, 1999.
To this day, the exes remain copacetic, as Cynthia shares in the above video. “I believe in getting along with my exes,” The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum notes in the above clip from an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. “Leon and I [...] we’re good. We’re super compatible, but he’s Noelle’s dad, I’m Noelle’s mother, and we have a great thing going co-parenting, but that’s it.”
So we weren’t surprised when Leon sent Cynthia the most beautiful bouquet on Mother’s Day to celebrate her role as a mother to Noelle. Cynthia shared an Instagram Story of the flowers on the May 14 holiday, showing an arrangement of pink, purple, and white florals in a glass vase and expressing her thanks to Leon.
Mother’s Day isn’t the only time in recent memory that Leon reached out to his ex with a sweet tribute.
Back in February, when Cynthia celebrated her 56th birthday, Leon shared a tender message, acknowledging their deep history in the process.
The February 19 post featured a throwback photo of the former couple, who appeared to be posing together at an event.
“We’ve been [friends] for a lot of [birthdays] [Cynthia Bailey],” Leon captioned the post, which showed Cynthia with short hair, gold hoops, and her signature bright smile. Leon, for his part, rocked a crisp white shirt with the top buttons left undone. “I’m happy to be wishing you another Happy, Healthy & Blessed Birthday‼️ Cause you deserve that and more.”
OK, we’re not crying — you’re crying.
In another Instagram share, Cynthia hinted at what’s next for her. “[I] read somewhere that the number 56 represents growth, change, new beginnings, spirituality [and] transformation. OK!!! [I] am ready!” she wrote.
The idea of “new beginnings” is something Cynthia previously reflected on at the beginning of 2023 with an Instagram photo that celebrated her move back into her waterfront Atlanta house, “Lake Bailey,” after announcing her split from Mike Hill in October 2022. (She previously resided with him in Los Angeles.)
Cynthia has been sharing glimpses into her home life over the past few months, including a peek at the “favorite part of [her] house” and enjoying the “[Lake] life.” In January, she showed off a “comfy casual” day at the lake house with a mirror selfie in an all-white outfit.
